When I was heading toward the airport in NJ with some other (big time) moms who attended Johnson’s Camp Baby, one of them commented that C-U must have the largest per capita number of mommy bloggers. It just might be true!
There’s another new local(ish) mom on the blog scene: Cassie.
Cassie is writing on her personal blog MessyFunMommyLife and also is writing a column at 5 Minutes for Mom about being a single parent. She lives in a small town in Central Illinois with her son Aiden and is working toward her college degree.
Her first post at 5 Minutes is called “What Makes a Good Mother?” I am sure we’ve all felt inadequate or like we were an impostor standing among other moms. But at the end of the day what matters is that we are mothers, not if our kids’ go to school with mismatched clothes or jelly on their faces. Not how much stuff we get them or how many dance classes they take. They just need their mom.
