Boob Man

How many times do you think I say "My nipples are not a toy" each day?

More times than you would think. I say that the baby is going to be a boob man when he grows up. But aren't they all?

In the middle of nursing he pulls away and then either cups my entire breast in his hands and smiles or he pushes on my nipple like it's a button and he laughs.

I think he is at the end of nursing. He's easily distracted and will take a few sips and then wants to move on and do something else. I've completely stopped pumping and I've even cut out the bedtime nursing session. It lasted longer than I ever thought it would, but that's optimism, being laid back, and a positive attitude for you. (More on this later this week.)

(It's so hard not to call him "baby." He's a toddler now. I know because my weekly Baby Center update says so.)
