About Leighann and Press & Blog Coverage

Leighann writes about family, food, foraging, frivolity, and more. She has an incredibly hectic life and multi-tasking doesn't even begin to describe it. She's married with two children, has a graduate degree, and works for a major university doing research.

She has a regular feature about being eco-cheap. She discusses raising a diabetic child. She tries to prepare (mostly*) vegetarian home cooked meals at least occasionally. And she doesn't take herself too seriously. She does what she can and doesn’t sweat what she can’t.

Located in Central Illinois, she is available for travel to Chicago, Indianapolis, and St. Louis, as well as trips by air.

This blog was previously called Soy is the New Black written under the alias Leeanthro.
